Anxiety is an issue we all face at times during our busy lives and can be a normal response to everyday events. Sometimes anxiety can become overwhelming, scary and become chronic as we seem to feel like this when reacting to daily situations or the feeling of anxiety stays all the time in a constant manner. This feeling can led us to be overwhelmed, stopping us from performing daily activities. Everyday events such as the school run or shopping can seem to trigger the anxiety; if this is you then the good news is that there is plenty we can do together to free you from this feeling. Anxiety can stop you from mixing, enjoying daily life such as your children playing in the park or going out with friends and in the end can effect your health and wellbeing as it can stop you sleeping, raise your blood pressure or cause a panic attack in a harmless situation to name a few.
Anxiety can be a feeling of unease, you may feel it as fear, sick, a racing heart, shaking or be short of breath. Normally once the trigger situation or threat has stopped the feelings pass however if the feeling become chronic or remains unchecked these feeling maybe with you constantly like a ball and chain. Anxiety is a normal response to keep us safe however if this over spills the feeling can be unpleasant, debilitating, constant and begin to interfere with our daily lives. Is this you? If so I can help. Due to how our uniquely wired brains work our mind, body and brain can become experts at forming neuro pathways which when practiced happen faster and more intensely meaning messages travelling through our nervous system can be trigger very quickly. This is great if the pathway is to learn new languages quickly or to prefect a golf shot however if it is as a result of trauma or constant anxiety this can overspill and leave us feeling helpless and isolated.
