Fear of clowns

About

Do clowns make you freeze with fear? Are you one of the estimated 12% of the UK that suffers with a phobia of clowns? The British Psychological Society defines phobias as 'an extreme, irrational fear of an animal, object, place or situation that most people would not fear'! Many others, such as Salkovskis, disagree with this theory - perhaps it is an anxiety disorder. However it can be reassuring to know that we have therapy tools and techniques to help you overcome your fear or phobia of clowns - stopping you experiencing symptoms such as a rapid heart rate, a change in breathing, raised blood pressure, dry mouth, trembling, heaviness in the chest and sleepless nights. I can help you to stop avoiding the circus or children's birthday parties.
